Retrospective of all the famous movies that have prominently featured balloons. Funny how I don’t remember Cary Grant running through those cornfields with balloon in hand. Guess “the balloon” is so ingrained in our culture that I didn’t even notice it….

July 23, 2008Unlike Christopher Nolan’s current Batman incarnation, the 1960′s TV show fully understood the beloved superhero’s mythology. I’m not sure what part of “breaking out of plaster jars and dancing in front of King Tut” the new movie failed to grasp.

It’s kind of crazy to watch trailers for movies now because when they flash the date its coming out you think that’s the set up for the premise, but it’s really just when the movie is coming out. “In the year 2009….this movie will come out”
